The word immortal means living forever, never dying or decaying. It does not matter that the person lives in real but he/she always lives in everyone’s heart. Its my luck that I can pay a tribute to the Immortal Singers of Indian Cinema who ruled over our hearts with their songs when they were alive, but they are still ruling our hearts even after they passed away decades back.

K.L Saigal- Kundan Lal Saigal- a name with many memories. A name that reminds us of such beautiful songs, which will make us feel lust everywhere. His some of the most famous songs are Jab Dil Hi Toot Gaya, Babul Mora, Diya Jalao, Do Nain Matwaare, So Ja Rajkumari and many more. The directors of Bollywood movie Delhi Belly(2011). Paid a tribute to Saigal Sahen in the song “Saigal Blues” 

Kishore Kumar- “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi…., Kishore Kumar was the most famous Indian playback singer, actor. composer, Lyricist, director, producer, and screenwriter. He is considered as one of the most popular and successful singers of the Hindi film industry. Some of his most famous works are Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si, Allah Kare Tu Bhi Aa Jaye, Koi Humdum Na Raha, Phir Suhani Shaam Dhali, Kehne Ki Nahin Baat and many more.

Mohammad Rafi- He was best known for his romantic and duet songs, he was famous for his unique technique of singing, he actually mold the voice according to the characters of the actor on the screen. Some of his most famous songs are Baharon Phool Barsao, Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe, Kya Hua Tera Vaada, Teri Galliyon Mein, Yeh Reshmi Zulfein and many more.

Mukesh - Mukesh Chand Mathur, he is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. He won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song “Kai Baar Yuhi Dekha Hai”.Some of his most famous works are Awara Hoon, Ham Aaj Kahin Dil Kho Bethe, Gaye Ja Geet Milan Ke Tu Apni Lagan Ke, Jeevan Sapna Toot Gaya, Teri Duniya Mein Dil Lagta Nahi and many more.

Begum Akhtar - She was also known as Akhtari Bai Faizabadi, she was well known for her renditions of the Ghazal, Dadra, and Thumri genres. Some of her most famous works are Piya Bholo Abhiman, Diwana Banana Hai, Ai Mohabbat Tere Anjam Pe, Door Hai Manzil Rahen Mushkil, Ae Mohabbat and many more such songs. She was awarded Padma Shri and later Padma Bhushan, by the Government of India.

Lata Mangeshkar - She is most popularly known as Lataji. She is an Indian singer and a music composer. She has been the best known and most admired Indian Singer ever. Her second name is “Melody Queen”. Some of her famous works are Ae Mere Watan Ke logo. Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koi, Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh, Lag Jaa Gale, Dushman Na Kare Dost Ne Wo Kaam Kiya Hai. She has been honored with Bharat Ratna, Legion of Honour and many other high achievements.
