She is 30 years old but, at this young age, she has achieved a good position with a good number of prestigious awards. From her first modeling assignment for the fashion designer Wendell Roderick in 2007 to a full-time modeling career to her first acting debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, she never looked back. she acted in the successful movies one after another like Band Baaja Baaraat, PK, Sultan, AeDil hai muskil, NH 10, Sanju and many more.  

She played an impressive role of a woman who is attacked by some criminals in the crime thriller NH10. Where we found her in an aggressive role taking revenge for her dying loved one. NH10 was Anusha’s debut film as a producer and she acted like a woman with very high spirit in this movie. For NH10, she went through an intense training which lasted for three months to boost her stamina.

Whereas, in Sultan, she acted as a wrestler from Haryana. For this, she was trained for six months to build some muscularity. She also spoke to the female wrestlers from that place and learned the Haryana dialect. In her most recent film Zero, she played the role of a scientist of NASA who is suffering from cerebral palsy and for this, she met with therapists, chose to use wheelchair between the shots.

Her relationship with Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli attracted media coverage but she refused to say on that topic and the couple married in Italy on 11th December 2017.

Besides her film industry career and it’s up and downs, she started practicing vegetarianism since 2015. She was awarded “The Person of the Year” by the people for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in 2017. At the personal ground, she took the Transcendental Meditation as she confessed that she suffered from anxiety disorder and that is why she needed treatment.

Apart from her acting, she is linked with a lot of charities where she walked the ramp to support Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan Welfare Society, an NGO. She supports the part of “Our Girls, Our Pride” fundraiser. She helped in the collection campaign for the victims of Nepal earthquake and donated money.

Recently she is concerned about animal rights. In 2015 she condemned the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China and tried to involve her followers. On that very year, she launched ‘Pawsitivity’, a campaign to alert people about the effect of pollution on animals. She is a true animal lover as she planned to open her animal shelter and veterinary hospital. Let’s wish her the best results of her and effort.
