She did her first Bollywood film, names Julie (1975) and played the role of Irene, Julie's younger sister. Then after, with her aspiring acting skills and abilities, she got a leading role in the film K Balachander’s Moondru Mudichu with her co-star Rajnikanth.

To attend the marriage of her nephew, Mohit Marwah she had been in Dubai where she passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 54. People will never get over her presence on this Earth, especially the Bollywood family as she was loved by everyone. She was always kind, graceful and loyal to everyone, especially to her directors. There can never be someone as beautiful, as talented and as funny at the same time. She is immortal in our hearts.
