The legend of acting SRIDEVI was born in the year 1963. She was known for her graceful dancing skills and naturalistic acting skills. She started her career in Bollywood when she was a child and was just 4 years old. Her first film was Thunaivan. After her first hit movie, she was seen in many movies as a child. She had done Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Her biggest hits as a child were Poompatta (1971) and Badi Panthulu (1972).

Journey in Bollywood: After working in various regional movies, she started her career in Bollywood in the year 1975. She did her first Bollywood film, names Julie (1975) and played the role of Irene, Julie's younger sister. Then after, with her aspiring acting skills and abilities, she got a leading role in the film K Balachander’s Moondru Mudichu with her co-star Rajnikanth.

We cannot compare her beauty as beauty is far too a common word to describe Sridevi. She was a lady who charmed all over India for years. No one could ever cross her, whether it is in the case of beauty, acting or dance. she was the best. Sridevi shone in her childhood and till now, she is in the hearts of people.

In her movie Balu Mahendra’s Moondram Pirai (1982), she performed an emotionally regressed child and it is still one of her finest films. During the 70’s and ’80s, she was one of the most hardworking actresses as she had worked in Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films.

No. 1 Heroine: She earned the title of No. 1 heroine from Harmesh Malhotra’s blockbuster Nagina (1986). She just dominated the screen over the leading legend man, 'Rishi Kapoor’. In the year 2013, she was awarded a Padma Shri award due to her awesome acting skills and immense love from the public. She had won numerous awards in her lifetime. Her dance performances, mostly choreographed by Saroj Khan are still in the minds of people which made her No. 1 heroine.

She had shone brightly all across India. Her energy on camera was scintillating. There had never been a moment on screen that she didn't have the audience in her grip. She was always innovative, whether it was acting, emotion, comic or dance. She was incredibly supportive of those she was close to.

People were waiting for Mr. India 2 but then a sudden and an unbelievable incident happened. To attend the marriage of her nephew, Mohit Marwah she had been in Dubai where she passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 54. People will never get over her presence on this Earth, especially the Bollywood family as she was loved by everyone. She was always kind, graceful and loyal to everyone, especially to her directors. There can never be someone as beautiful, as talented and as funny at the same time. She is immortal in our hearts. We wish that her soul rest in peace and be liberated from the cycle of birth and death. Om Shanti!
